contact: 0151 259 0327

Galkoff`s Kosher Butchers shop situated at Pembroke Place, in Liverpool city centre and is the last surviving property that reflect the London Road area and Liverpool's historic Jewish and émigré links that have existed for nearly 300 years.   The property  has been under threat of demolition for more than a decade.  There have been three previous attempts by  development agencies to compulsory purchase the property for demolition.

John Stubbs & Sons Marble Company of Crown Street, Liverpool , supplied the three inch thick white carrera marble butchers and display slabs, the company also supplied the marble fitted in some of the great  ships and transatlantic liners of the White Star Cunard Liners to name only a few.    They also provided  much of the finishing and monuments of the Mersey Road Tunnel, Queensway.
